Is Vocabeez free?
Yes. Vocabeez is free to download and learn with — there are no subscriptions and no in-app purchases to unlock the words, conversations, or quizzes.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. Every word, conversation, and quiz is built right into the app, so Vocabeez works fully offline. Once it’s installed, you can learn on a plane, on the subway, or anywhere with no signal.
Do I need to create an account?
No account and no sign-in. Open the app, set a reminder time if you’d like one, and start learning right away.
Is my data collected or shared?
No. Vocabeez doesn’t collect personal information, and it has no analytics, ads, or third-party trackers. Your progress stays on your device. You can read the full details in our Privacy Policy.
How do daily reminders work, and can I change the time?
When you first open Vocabeez, you can choose a time of day for a gentle reminder to practice. If you allow notifications, the app schedules a daily nudge at that time — all handled on your device.
To change or turn reminders off later, open Settings → Notifications → Vocabeez on your device and adjust them there.
How are streaks calculated?
Your streak counts the run of consecutive days you complete a learning session. Finish a session today and your streak grows by one; the weekly calendar on the dashboard shows the days you’ve already logged.
Can I hear the words pronounced? How do I mute the audio?
Yes — the lines in Context Practice can be read aloud using your device’s built-in speech, so you can hear how a word sounds in a real sentence. To silence it, lower your volume or use your device’s ring/silent switch.
Which devices are supported?
Vocabeez runs on iPhone and iPad (iOS and iPadOS 17 or later) and on Apple Vision Pro (visionOS 1 or later). It’s also available on Mac through “Designed for iPad.”
How do I reset my progress?
All of your progress — streaks, quiz scores, and learned words — is stored only on your device. Deleting and reinstalling Vocabeez clears that local data and starts you fresh. Because nothing is stored on a server, this can’t be undone, so remove the app only if you truly want to start over.
